A CURRICULUM FOR WALES

Something special

If you’re looking for something special, a creative, inspiring and customisable curriculum, then the Cornerstones curriculum is for you. It is not an ‘off-the-shelf scheme’ but a living, breathing, adaptable curriculum you can make entirely your own.

Everything Welsh schools need

The Cornerstones curriculum covers all the essential stuff Welsh schools are required to teach, but it also does much, much more. It provides the structure, ideas, activities, projects, and inspiration you need to embed the four purposes and a wealth of cross-curricular skills and knowledge, progression, and pupil voice. It also enables you to teach Cynefin, a unique and wonderful part of the Curriculum for Wales.

Projects that excite

You can use two types of projects to build your school curriculum – Knowledge-rich and creative. Choose which type you prefer or even combine a mix of both. Whatever you want to do, we’ll help you to do it. You can even include projects and topics from your existing curriculum that your teachers know and love, so none of that hard work you’ve already done on your curriculum will go to waste.
