Beachcombers

Project overview

Develop children’s knowledge of coastal features with our comprehensively resourced science project, Beachcombers. Our high-quality teaching resources help Year 2 children observe, identify and classify seaside plants and animals, and learn about habitats, food chains and environmental issues.

It is built upon our four-stage primary focused pedagogyEngage, Develop, Innovate, Express – to get your children curious about the project ahead, develop and then use new skills and knowledge, before finally allowing them to express their thoughts, ideas and reflections on what they have learnt.

*This project is part of the Cornerstones Science Curriculum and is not sold separately.
