Christmas is just around the corner and the festivities may have already started in school. Preparations for EYFS and KS1 Nativities or KS2 performances are well underway, and your mind will soon turn to Christmas party games. It can be both a hectic but really enjoyable time at school, especially for the children, and it’s often a chance for them to have some fun. So, to help you manage those messy moments between concert rehearsals and Christmas parties, we’ve assembled a pack full of quality resources and ideas that you can use flexibly to meet the needs of your class.

Our Christmas resource bundle contains over 30 high-quality resources and there’s something suitable for all children, whether they are in Nursery or Year 6.

Highlights of the pack include:

A Cover to Cover reading guide for the novel A Christmas Carol which is suitable for readers aged 9+. Dive into the world of Charles Dickens together with this detailed guide which includes a synopsis of the story, prompts as you read and a wide range of related activities.

An Enhanced Provision Board is provided for Nursery and Reception children and comes with a range of accompanying resources. The board focuses on Christmas and gives suggestions in all Areas of Learning, from Construction to Imaginative Play. Your little ones are going to absolutely love it.

Now it wouldn’t be Christmas if the children didn’t have the opportunity to receive a letter from the big man himself! So, we’ve designed a beautiful signed and sealed Letter from Santa that is addressed to your class.

For history buffs, we’ve also included a set of Victorian Christmas comparison picture cards to help children investigate how Christmas has changed over time.

You’ll also receive a range of stocking fillers including a treasure hunt, craft ideas, puzzles, and quizzes, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy in any spare December moments.

While these resources are not part of the Cornerstones Curriculum, they do offer an insight into the quality of the resources we provide. If you’d like to find out more about how the Cornerstones Curriculum can help your school, click the button below.
