Uses of Materials

Project overview

This project teaches children about the uses of everyday materials and how materials’ properties make them suitable or unsuitable for specific purposes. They begin to explore how materials can be changed.

It is built upon our four-stage primary focused pedagogy โ€“ Engage, Develop, Innovate, Express โ€“ to get your children curious about the project ahead, develop and then use new skills and knowledge, before finally allowing them to express their thoughts, ideas and reflections on what they have learnt.

*This project is part of the Cornerstones Science Curriculum and is not sold separately.
