What are laws?

A PSHE and SMSC project for Year 2 children

What is a law? Why do we have laws? What happens if we break the law?

In this project, children learn the difference between rules and laws. They think about the consequences of breaking the law and find out about fair punishment. Finally, they meet and talk to a police community support officer, before debating whether it would be possible to live in a world without punishment.

Accessing your digital download

Upon submitting your order, you will be taken to a confirmation page and be sent a confirmation email, both containing a link to your download.

Access anytime in the future
You will also receive an email welcoming you to Cornerstones ID. Once you have set your Cornerstones Online password (instruction in the email), you will be able to access your download at any time in the future by clicking on ‘My account' in the menu at the bottom of this website and clicking on the ‘Downloads' tab.
