Feeling overwhelmed with your curriculum workload? You are not alone. With curriculum quality high on the national agenda, primary schools are faced with a significant task. One that involves strategic decision making and time consuming groundwork, made harder now that local authorities have reduced capacity for curriculum support. All of this is on top of the daily pressures of running a school and supporting children’s welfare.
Our mission is to help teachers and leaders to get the curriculum support that they need. Since 2010, we have empowered over 2000 primary schools to design, deliver and manage outstanding curricula. Schools come to us for a variety of reasons; for general curriculum advice, to achieve better curriculum coverage, or because they want a complete curriculum reboot.
There is so much included when you purchase a school licence for Curriculum Maestro. Cornerstones are not a ‘sell and run’ company. We have always provided ongoing, free, online support to our customers. This support includes set up advice, staff training, answering specific questions about your curriculum, helping with planning and assessment or a complete curriculum redesign.
We understand what it’s like in a busy primary school. You should be able to find help, have your problems solved and receive speedy answers to your questions. As a valued customer, you will receive ongoing support to help you, whatever your question or need.

Our curriculum advisers are experienced leaders and teachers who are experts in primary curriculum design, and can show you how to get the most out of the Maestro platform. The advisers are available online, on the phone or in school to offer support with curriculum development, mixed age planning, assessment, subject leadership advice and much more. These sessions often result in lasting professional relationships with schools, and allow us to get to know a school’s context and needs very well as they develop their curriculum. Schools appreciate having a named person that they can contact, knowing that the person understands their school’s strengths and challenges.

Our team also provides online support using Teams, Zoom and Google Chat. We offer bespoke training sessions for leaders and staff to meet your exact needs, and at a time to suit you. During these sessions, we screen share and guide you through the Maestro content and tools, answering questions and sharing ideas. We also provide videos to support you with Maestro in your own time. Find them in your to do list on the Maestro homepage. The videos are short, clear and easy to follow, covering every aspect of Maestro. In 2021, we are launching a new Help Centre on Maestro, where you’ll find these videos and more advice on curriculum topics.
As leaders in primary curriculum design, we keep up to date with the crucial issues in our sector. Our regular podcast, blog and magazine offers primary leaders and teachers advice and information on a variety of topics.
