Calling all Early Years practitioners! Free EYFS activities and resources

We’re feeling generous and giving you the chance to get your hands on free EYFS lesson plans and resources, ready for September.

Every day, we’ll be featuring one of our new Nursery or Reception Imaginative Learning Projects (ILPs) and giving you the chance to try out some of the activities included in them. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up.

Nursery projects

The first five will be activities from our amazing spring and summer term Nursery projects including:Nursery - 5 ILPs

  • Did dragons exist?
  • Are eggs alive?
  • How high can I jump?
  • Can we explore it?
  • How many pebbles on the beach?

Reception projects

The next five will be activities from our brilliant Reception projects including:

Reception - 5 ILPs
  • Do cows drink milk?
  • Are we there yet?
  • Can I switch it on?
  • Why do ladybirds have spots?
  • Who lives in a rock pool?

Each activity will be mapped to the EYFS Typical Behaviours with the Reception projects also linking to the ELG.

Cornerstones EYFS Curriculum


The Cornerstones EYFS Curriculum is a new creative curriculum that gives you everything you need to create your own stimulating, engaging and aspirational Early Years environment. It features 28 ILPs (14 Nursery and 14 Reception), all crafted and themed around children's questions and the world around them.

It’s been carefully designed with practitioners in mind, with the projects providing a range of quality group and enhanced provision activities. These enable children to practise and master the necessary skills needed to achieve the early learning goals.

Using our previous EYFS Curriculum?

The Cornerstones EYFS Curriculum is a brand new product. If your school already uses our interest-based learning projects, you can get the new EYFS curriculum and supporting documents with a discount of up to half the price.
