Here are the terms and conditions for the Curriculum Awards 2023.

  1. This prize draw is open to Cornerstones Schools (licensees of Curriculum Maestro, Cwricwlwm Maestro or Maestro Lite) within England and Wales, and nominations must only be submitted by individuals aged 18 years or over. The Curriculum Awards are not open to employees or agents of the organiser, Cornerstones Education Limited, of 6 Fields End Business Park, Goldthorpe, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S63 OJF (“Cornerstones”). This is a free prize draw. Entrants are not required to make any purchase or payment to enter. 2. To enter the prize draw, simply fill in the entry form and provide evidence of the curriculum work to be judged by our awards team. A particular individual child, group, class or year group may be entered more than once. The person submitting the nomination must also obtain permission from their head of school.
  3. In order to qualify for the Curriculum Awards, your nomination must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday 31st March 2023 (the “Deadline”). Incomplete nominations or those not received by the Deadline will not count. Entry is by online submission only.
  4. The Curriculum Awards are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any company other than Cornerstones. You understand that you are providing your information, and information on the party you are nominating, to Cornerstones.
  5. Cornerstones is not responsible or liable for any nominations that are incomplete or lost regardless of cause, including, but not limited to, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
  6. By entering the Curriculum Awards, you confirm that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete and that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

You must ensure that you have the permission of the people (and the parents of the students) you are nominating when providing their details to Cornerstones, both in terms of nominating them and for Cornerstones to use their personal data as set out in these terms and conditions. Information provided by you shall be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy, details of which can be found at https://cornerstoneseducation.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Please note that winners will be asked to participate in further feature photographs, which may be used in marketing.
  8. The prizes are one of £1000 and three of £250 , which must be spent on curriculum enrichment opportunities or resources for the individual child, group, class or year group entered. The prize will be paid only to the winner’s school account. However, depending on the nature of the opportunity or resource, it may also be beneficial for future school use. Trophies will also be given to each winning school. Where there is more than one individual within a winner (for example, a year group), each individual within that winning nomination will receive a winner’s badge and certificate. There is no cash alternative.

We are in a much better place with CM than with our old curriculum. We will be making it more bespoke in the second year.

I have used Cornerstones from its first launch. The product has been refined over time as it is driven by feedback from schools and teachers delivering the content. The company is also responsive to a school's needs.

Maestro is a real time saver, particularly for leadership teams and subject leaders. There is a wealth of information and resources which can be used and adapted by creative skills teachers. The way the curriculum is mapped is excellent and was commented on in a very recent Ofsted inspection.

I have recommended and told many other schools and school staff about it. I would always though suggest that they need to ensure it is right for their school setting and the needs of their staff and pupils.

It has been a revelation. Staff are finding their way through it and if we have any questions, the support from Cornerstones is amazing. We always get answers to our questions. It is now our one-stop-shop for curriculum with linked up thinking and approach through an intuitive and user-friendly system.
