Next month we're heading to Cardiff for our second Cornerstones Curriculum Conference, and it’s shaping up to be another unmissable day.

Science enquiry made easy

Is custard a liquid? How do fossils form? Why is holly prickly? Use new and exciting resources to explore these questions, in this practical session, with Love to Investigate author, Dr Fran Barnes.

Teaching RE in the primary school

This session will focus on the requirements for the teaching of RE in Wales and explore how teachers can integrate philosophy and ethics in an engaging and purposeful way.

 

Keynote speakers

After their success in Swansea before Christmas, we've invited former captain of the Welsh rugby team and patron of Wales Dyslexia, Scott Quinnell and headteachers Damien Beech and Tania Morgan back for our second conference.

In addition, we've invited Richard George – Strategic Lead for Digital Learning, CSC and James Protheroe – Assistant Headteacher at Darran Park Primary School to talk about the new Digital Competence Framework.
