Cornerstones Book Club, in partnership with Waterstones

Does your school use the Cornerstones Curriculum? Are you looking for suitable books to read alongside our Imaginative Learning Projects (ILPs)? Then look no further. We’re delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Waterstones to bring you the Cornerstones Book Club!

All about the books

Cornerstones Book Club is all about promoting and providing the very best children’s books and we’ve teamed up with the nation’s favourite bookshop to do just that, with book packs that complement the Cornerstones Curriculum perfectly, recommended texts for every ILP in KS1 and KS2, and general book-related news and reviews to help inspire a love of reading in children.

Cornerstones book packs

Our bespoke book packs are available for every ILP in the Cornerstones Curriculum – from EYFS up to Year 6. They have been curated by our very own consultants alongside the experts at Waterstones, with each pack containing a selection of high quality books representing the very best in children’s literature.

Every book has been carefully chosen to link to the themes and ideas running through our ILPs and every pack contains a selection of both fiction and non-fiction titles.

Our book packs take the stress out of sourcing books for our ILPs and are priced at just £75 plus P&P.

Love to Read and recommended texts

Every ILP in the Cornerstones Curriculum also has a text we recommend reading as part of the project that links to the overall theme. So if you’re looking for an appropriate book to use as a class read, we’ve got that covered too! Every book has been recommended and checked by our own consultants so you can rest assured it will not only be high quality, but also age appropriate and relevant to the ILP.

If you’re purchasing any of our Love to Read teaching guides, you can now buy the book to accompany it, meaning everything you need is in one place. Our Love to Read teaching guides are available for KS2 and help you teach classic and contemporary children's literature, whatever your literary experience or knowledge. The series is made up of a range of novels that represent a variety of styles, periods and authors to help children experience a range of literature.

Book sets for group reading can be purchased in any quantity – whether you need 6, 15 or 30 copies for your class – at a significant discount off the RRP.
